This article shows that the dying and bereaved need pastoral care. This pastoral care must be characterized by love, speaking to people about God, who is the creater and sustainer of all things.
In their shepherding of God’s flock, elders are required to bring comfort to the bereaved. This article emphasizes the need to listen when comforting the bereaved, and describes the nature of such listening.
