This article looks at how the secular world thinks about freedom. The author looks at the definition of freedom from the perspective of liberalism, communism, and Nazism, as well as Hinduism and Islam. The author concludes the article by discussing how Christianity views freedom. 

Karl Marx’s views on labour came as a result of his reaction to capitalism. His conviction that the movement of history is determined by the structures of societies, the forces of production, and the relations of production, resulted to the concept of class struggle.
