In this study the story of the temptation of Adam and Eve is placed in the wider context as a prelude to the Pentateuch. The article wants to demonstrate its significance for Israel as the people of God. It sees the two trees in the Garden of Eden as part of retribution theology functioning in the same way as the blessing and curse of Moses.

There are some ministers who are actually false prophets and apostles of Satan. These preachers deny the enormity of sin, the wrath of God upon sinners, and Jesus as the only true way to God.

The one thing which distinguishes false prophets from true prophets, and true apostles from false apostles, is the message preached. All true prophets throughout the Bible and now preach the same message, which has originated in God.
